About Us

We are active in our community, we care about our clients, we fuss over design aesthetics.  In no particular order.

Meet Our Team

We’re a national interior design company that performs like a firm twice our size. This means we get to know you pretty well, and you can count on us to deliver on time and on budget, no matter where you are located in the United States.

Doris Pearlman

President and Founder

You might say that design is in Doris Pearlman’s DNA. Growing up the child of a textile designer in New York, she remembers foreign fashion magazines as bedtime tales, and all things design as routine topics around the dinner table. Seemingly a pre-destined designer, Doris actually graduated with a degree in Education. After teaching fifth grade for a split second, she made a bee line back to the world of design.

Opening her own residential design firm in Denver was a start, but the second she stepped into a model home, she knew designing individual residences was not her passion. Creating homes from the ground up was much more exciting! She remembers the designer of the first model home she visited: Bev Trupp of Color Design Art, based in L.A. Bev’s ability to design and build a brand captured Doris’ attention. Today, under Doris’ leadership, Possibilities for Design is one of the most-awarded interior design firms for developers and home builders in the country.

“To this day, I love every single part of what we do. My happiest design moment is walking into a finished model or commercial space and being enamored with the lifestyle and design that the Possibilities team has created.”

Cindy Adair

Director, Residential Design

Cindy began at Possibilities in 1994 after graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Almost thirty years later, this project managing maven is our Design Director and guiding light - with unparalleled attention to detail. Having just completed her very own full-home remodel, it’s safe to say Cindy lives and breathes the world of expert space planning and design. Her favorite part of the design process is “when function and beauty collide.” Recharging in the mountains, hiking and capturing nature photography with her husband and dog is her happy place. But we’re happy to be a close second.

John Limiero

Director, Commercial Design

Over the twenty-five years John has been with Possibilities, he has created a nationally successful commercial studio. Solving technical crises with ease, directing commercial design and heading remodels with flair, John is irreplaceable. His ability to redesign challenged spaces into fresh, new functions is his strong suit. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Colorado State University, John knew he wanted to be a designer since he was eleven. His inspiration? Fantastical architecture that defies common sense and captures the imagination. Zen place? Creating and cultivating, of course. And his hidden talent: he’s ambidextrous! Which comes in handy on installs…

Cyndi Burkhart

Controller

Cyndi is the light in our office. And, luckily, her unique love of numbers and design collided when she joined our Possibilities family in 2011. Having studied both Accounting and Interior Design at the University of Kentucky, she gets the best of both worlds at Possibilities. When she’s not crunching numbers, being the HR liaison, or planning exciting events for the office, she’s camping, attending concerts, and spending time with her husband, son and neighborhood friends. Her hidden talent? ‘Name That Tune’!

Dawn Duhamel

Director, Sales and Marketing

You’d be hard pressed to find someone who knows as much about home building as our very own Dawn. In the industry since the very start of her career, she brings an unprecedented angle to our team. Her favorite part of the design process? The beginning. “Who are we targeting, and how can we connect with them? I like understanding the why behind the wow.” What we love most about Dawn is her ability to make us laugh, radiate positivity, and constantly find new ways to make our Possibilities family closer.

Although she is an active Coloradan through and through – catch her at the next Bolder Boulder – she is an East Coast girl at heart. Born and raised in Maryland, this Indiana University alum can twirl a baton, chair a council dedicated to women in building, or sit on national committees. Don’t hesitate to reach out for a coffee date (she knows all the best local spots) if you want to learn more about her role at Possibilities.

Kristen Tally

Marketing Manager

Kristen is our fun-loving wanderlust from the Midwest. In 2015, she traded the rolling hills of Kansas for the Rocky Mountains, and has been with Possibilities ever since. Earning her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas, Kristen’s role as Marketing Manager has fueled her fervor for design. Between time spent living in four different countries, studying art and architecture, and working for Possibilities, Kristen has unearthed her true passion: interior design. She is currently earning her degree in Interior Architecture and Design, and while we love Kristen’s millennial marketing expertise, we couldn’t be more excited for her to shine as a designer. When she isn’t working or studying, you can find her cooking and cocktailing with her husband and friends, boating in Missouri, camping in the mountains, or racing down Vail’s slopes. (Keep First-Aid on stand-by, though!)

DESIGN STAFF

Stacy Tingle

Senior Designer

At Possibilities for an impressive twenty-one years, Stacy first dipped her toes into the world of design as a teenager, when her parents asked her to help select finishes for their new home. That creative freedom was the spark that eventually led her to the Art Institute of Colorado, earning her degree in Interior Design. Rest assured, her work as a designer doesn’t stop at 5:00PM. Stacy and her husband recently remodeled their entire home, inside and out, which she describes as a labor of love. Emphasis on the labor. A local building that inspires her is the old-brick stadium, Coors Field, which she adores almost as much as the Rockies themselves.

Lindsay Huhn

Senior Designer

For almost fifteen years, Lindsay has kept us smiling and laughing with her effervescent wit and easy-going personality. Usually the last to leave the office, her hard work shines through in the projects she leads. Since the age of seven, she knew she wanted to be a designer, and headed straight for Possibilities when she graduated from the Art Institute of Colorado with her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. She has worn many hats over the years, including marketing! We couldn’t be happier to have her part of our Possibilities’ family, as one of our earliest senior designers. On the weekends, you can find her gardening, hiking, or walking her dog, Boo.

Elisa Zenger

Senior Designer

We’re so lucky we’ve had Elisa at Possibilities for a decade. This Utah State University alum found her passion for interior design while on a Colorado Parade of Homes Tour her sophomore year in college. She was struck by a memory point in one of the homes on the tour—a black Possibilities for Design bag in one of the closets. She thought it was an intriguing name for a company, and that memory stuck with her as she began to explore classes in interior design. Little did she know that six years later, she’d be a designer at that very company. Elisa’s positivity exudes throughout our office and her ability to create harmonious spaces is captivating.

Claudia Wayne

Senior Designer

Claudia likes to say she got her start as a designer early in life - constantly re-arranging the furniture in her parents’ home, much to their dismay. We, however, couldn’t be more pleased with Claudia’s space planning expertise. After graduating from the Art Institute of Colorado with her degree in Interior Design, she began her life as a designer at Possibilities and we’re grateful to have had her for seven years. When she isn’t leading projects and installs, you can find her vacationing with friends, whipping up some Italian family recipes, or perfecting her handicap on the fairway.

Christy Montoya

Senior Designer

A Possibilities designer of almost eight years and our resident artist! When Christy isn’t working on commercial design projects, you can find her painting and selling her colorful, eclectic works of art, inspired by road trips around Colorado and New Mexico. A woman with an impressive and diverse resume, Christy was honorably discharged from the Army in 2008, where her travels oversees inspired her to want to create beautiful interiors. Once back in Colorado, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Colorado. While studying abroad for a sustainability program, she was awestruck by the Gemini Residence in Copenhagen, her favorite building. We love seeing her worldly inspiration come through in her work as a designer.

Sarah Bramlett

Senior Designer, NCIDQ

Senior designer and NCIDQ-certified, Sarah, showed her initiative and breadth of knowledge from the moment she started. Need to know how to fix your Adobe Suite issue? Wondering if a vendor still carries that specific line? She’s got your answer. Graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, she’s known she’d be a designer since the second grade. Her favorite part of the design process is the installation, when everything she envisioned in her mind finally comes to fruition. Outside the office, you can find her nose-deep in a Gillian Flynn novel, helping her parents re-design their home, or hanging with friends.

Kelsi Holwagner

Designer

Kelsi is one of our newest employees, but oldest soul. Lover of vintage music, the outdoors, cooking, and snowboarding, her affable nature is hard not to love. Kelsi’s space planning and merchandising talents were on display as soon as she could plug Sims into her CD-ROM, which led her to earning her degree in Interior Design from North Dakota State University. Her favorite project prior to joining Possibilities was working on the design of a custom, wheelchair accessible home. The challenging requirements of the large-scale project fueled her passion as a designer – and we love her unique perspective!

Bio Coming Soon

Jessica Shaffer

Designer

Coming to Possibilities from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s in Interior Design, Jessica is not only our newest employee, but is also in the process of designing her first ever home: a 1950s charmer that’s about to get an eclectic Midcentury Modern makeover. She loves all parts of design—space planning, integrating the perfect mix of colors, and creating a place that feels like home. But that’s not all there is to know… Jessica taught, performed and competed in Swing Dancing for over ten years, which might be the reason she’s always so upbeat.

Kortney Sheely

Purchasing Agent

Our recent newlywed is an all-star. In her five years with Possibilities, Kortney has successfully championed the intensity and challenges of purchasing. Our Jane-of-all-trades in the office, she helps keep everything buttoned up and on schedule - skills she surely acquired from her degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. After planning a beautiful vineyard wedding, her sights are now set on finding a perfect forever home.

Lori Ary

Purchasing Agent

A woman of many talents, Lori comes to us from Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, Studio Art and Printmaking, and a Masters in Fine Art and Textile Art. She’s always known that one way or another she would find her way into the world of design. We’re happy to have her at Possibilities, first as a design assistant and now as a superb addition to our purchasing department. Her talents don’t stop there—she also happens to be an expert color mixer and creates custom tea towels for friends and art fairs. “My creativity is inspired by what I see around me, anything that evokes an emotion in me.” We say keep on creating!

Dana Rondinelli

Design Assistant

Another stellar Jane-of-all-trades, Dana has been an incredible addition to our Possibilities family, assisting the design team for over a year now. A native Coloradan, Dana received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Colorado State University, and her Marketing MBA from Regis University.

Not only is she willing and able to assist at design’s beckon call, Dana thrives being part of the merchandising process behind the scenes. She is a particular admirer of restoration projects. Spending quite a bit of time in Ouray, she was able to see the Beaumont Hotel throughout its renovation process. “Seeing a building’s full potential and grandeur come back to life is a beautiful thing to witness.” We couldn’t agree more.

Ken Houston

Warehouse Manager

What started out as a favor for a friend, turned into Ken becoming our diligent Warehouse Manager of over six years. Ken’s ability to organize, maintain, and supervise our enormous Denver warehouse comes from years of organizational experience, along with a Masters in Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics and Masters in HVAC Sheet Metal Layout. Ken is endlessly learning new skills and finding new hobbies. In his off hours, you can find him designing and building his own personal work shop, jamming to 80s ballads, or riding his motorcycle through the Rockies.

Capabilities

Our process begins with extensive research and questioning into every aspect of the community. What is the relationship between housing and landscape? What is the community USP? What materials and architectural styles are at play? And, perhaps most important of all, how does the community serve the dreams of its future inhabitants? We develop a specific buyer profile that allows us to tailor our design accordingly.
